Room of Objects

Observing my Leandro son, whose characteristic to disarm the toys makes an Expert in control of quality, I warned how he gave it renewed life to its broken toys, each part acquired a new concept in its games.

Ever since we are born we learn with games and as we grow these "games".

Can change in form and style, in combinations and rules, giving impulse to the essence of the learning and relation with the other.

These works are as the connection between that innocent, simple boy, and "the adult" boy. The elements of discarding, parts of toys, become and give rule to other games.

Some presented/displayed objects are contained in boxes covered in velveteen; net and deep sometimes and others in smooth litmuses. Containers  boxes almost like exhibition boxes, this one idea is accentuated by another acrylic box transparency that "Protects Everything":

 Box + subbox = game.

Other objects are works done with diversion, playing with broken toys and finding we ourself with the boy who all we have.

TAROT CARDS

MAGIC SERIES OF ART OBJECTS

For years already I am working on the thematic of the Tarot.

After the investigation and the direct communication with students of this mystical practice, I dedicated  to develop a personal aesthetic what characterizes to each arcane one and his significance.

I worked on the type of Marsellés Tarot, such mayor arcane as minor arcane, like also with the Egyptian tarot, where I developed the characteristics of each God runs and maintaining the characteristics plastic of old Egypt.

The used techniques are painting, photo-printing, lithographies and xilographies. Done one by one in Tarot card format of with completion by hand, they count in addition on a special treatment of plastic cover to be able to be manipulated.

Each mallet also has a box worked like object of art with incrustations and special covers.

I also incorporate a card pack of fairies, worked in lithography, taken part and finished by hand.
